the First time i ever heard that word was in EVE, i suspect its where the misconception of "gang kill" originates from.

edit: 1990's forget EvE....gangsta rap in full effect. gang kill is probably correct.

Doesn't matter. The usage of the term "gank" in Guild Wars is ALWAYS about a split team running quickly to kill the guild lord while the other team is distracted at the flag stand. The actual defination may be different, but that is not the way the word is used in GW.
